The Mound

The Mound is an artefact inspired by the café demolishing act near the archaeological site. By recreating the scenario of the destruction act and the ruins demonstrates the system of domination by the Israel government. The Mound is a media, to reflect and to speculate the political atmosphere of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict gives a better understanding of the relationship between cultural, archaeological and social context. It cannot be ignored, with the knowledge that ignoring this necessarily puts us in the position of reinforcing this system of domination. The mound is a monument.
